Another Project that probably won’t see the light of day

I’ve been working on a new site design for "The Anime Plaza" since February now. Just recently, and thanks in part to a slashdot link, I’m finally close to finishing the layout. It’s taken me so long not because I’m terribly busy with work and school that I don’t have time to work on any designs - because I’ve gone through roughly 5 or 6 changes, two of which where structural - it’s actually that I’m a horrible designer and it takes me 5 or 6 tries to get something I semi like.

The link from slashdot that inspired me recently was: Cooking for Engineers. Now as of Sunday morning the site was down, but I do suggest you check out the link to see a truly nice and simple site. See, the new design for The Anime Plaza is mainly green and uses no white, so I’ve been having some problems getting the right colors to blend together. That is until now. No, the new design doesn’t look much like Cooking for Engineers, though I wish I was capable of doing something like that.

Anyways, the site design is really all hogwash if I don’t have decent content for it. And this is why this project will probably die like everything else I do. See, I’m looking to get a couple of people so we can post in a blog setting some random anime opinions, as well as offer unique series content and commentary - aka series shrines. Basically taking my current anime plaza, adding more anime series and keeping it fresh by adding a blog to it. Nothing fancy. But still something that won’t happen.
