Yet another format
I spend most of the weekend formatting my computer. I think that’s the second time this year, or was it the third? I’m back to a simple computer that isn’t cluttered with installations of software that I don’t use and a working copy of Firefox. I’m not sure what happened, but a couple of weeks after installing Firefox 1 it started acting weird - not installing extensions or themes. I’m experiencing the same problem with my computer at work. Like mine, it also has around 3 copies of Firefox installed. Maybe I should listen sometimes when the instructions say to uninstall before continuing. That said, the computer at work is getting as annoying as my computer at home was last week, when I realized it needed a fresh windows install. Unfortunately, I think that format is going to have to wait until the new year. Sigh.
Either way, it’s always nice to experience the responsiveness of a new windows installation. I understand that NT based Windows are pretty good stability wise, Windows - even NT - still gets this weird feeling the longer its installed. Or maybe it’s just my perceptions playing with me.
