that was great

Yesterday I was treated to a really good piece of entertainment: The Civilization IV Trailer. It was extremely hillarious.

I’m really looking forward to this game in the series, eventhough I still haven’t gotten a chance to play Civ III. Other than a brief addiction to Civ 2 that lasted a good portion of 3 years, I’ve only had limited experience with Civilization and Alpha Centauri - what looked to be the spiritual successor to Civ after Sid left Mircroprose to found Firaxis and lost the Civ Franchise name to Activision. I found the unit making feature in Centauri pretty interesting and flexible, but it definately complicated the game. Just a small little note: the subsequent Activision games weren’t very good.

Anyways, I’m not going to spoil the trailer for other people, but it’s trully a gem.
