New Look - Same Site
I worked on this new style for the website sometime in June. It probably took me a good day’s work. It was probably a Sunday. The I just kept messing up the old design. I liked the original v3 design but every time I tried to tweak it I only made it worse. So I started from scratch - kept the same html code for the most part, so it was pretty quick and easy to get the new style up. I decided to that today since I feel one of the reasons I haven’t posted anything new lately is because I felt it wouldn’t be worth to update such an ugly site. I hope to be able to make small changes here there through the next couple of months and soon enough it’ll be called version 4.
I’ve been thinking about taking movable type to the limits as a cms engine. I know that if I wanted a general CMS I should probably use something else, but personally I like MT and I really just want to see how far I can take it in storing different types of content. We’ll see.
Anyways, along with the new look, I added a couple of new albums to the photo gallery. Pictures of Kate and my wedding and some picture of the animals at the animal sanctuary (Wild Animal World) Kate works at.
