Turkey Day
Had an extremely good turkey day this year. The turkey was plentiful, the pumpkin pie made an appereance and I ate much more than I should have. But considering it’s one of those few times a year that entire families actually make a feast of a dinner that one should eat more than their share. I started the day off sleeping in. It felt extremely good. Kate and I than spent the day going to the various family celebrations. Actually, we had “lunch” at her mom’s house, came back for some rest, and then went to have “dinner” at Martha’s. I got some good game time in - both in Black & White 2 and Mario Kart DS.
Outside of the actual events of the day, I felt really thankfull. It’s been a long year for Kate and I but we’ve endured. We haven’t had much problems living on our own for the past 5 or so months - outside of all the hurricanes wiping our food stores clean (I’ve yet to stock back up from what we lost in Wilma)! I’m also getting close to finally finishing school. I almost feel acomplished. This year, as rough as it has been at times, has been relatively good to us and I’m very thankfull.
