A Short Overview

My New Year’s resolution of trying to keep a steady update schedule came to an end this February. Kate and I went on vacation from the 3rd to the 10th. We went to Texas to see her family at Sunrise Beach. We got a lot of pictures, but I’m not sure where I want to put them since I’m having some problems with my current installation of Gallery. I also think I should try to set up a place where the high resolution versions are available. Kate and I had some fun though while at the same time relaxed. We took it nice and easy. Not starting the day until after 10am. It was really nice - sightseeing the area. Look at the houses on the lake, looked at some exotic animals, looked at the inside of a really old cave. Oh, there was some really good German beer in between that sightseeing.

There was also a Virtual Boy. We found it in Kate’s dad’s warehouse. I haven’t gotten a chance to play it that much because just like I remebered when I played it over 10 years ago, I got one hell of a headeache playing a simple game. Sigh. Maybe in a little bit of time I’ll be able to get through playing more then 5 minutes. Of course, there is also the problem that we only have two not so fun games: Mario Clash and Red Alarm. Not to say they aren’t fun games. But I remember Virtual Boy games being very similar to arcade games or games from earlier in Video Game History. So they felt a little simple. Anyways, now I just have to keep my eyes open for to start collecting.

Oh, and for you Chirs. Happy Be-lated Birthday.
