24 Candles, 24 Years
I turned 24 yesterday, and like last year it seems, my birthday is being overshaddowed by a terrible weather system! If Kate had her way, this would be the second storm suffixed “The Lame”.
But before the lines at the gas stations got crazy, Kate and I had invited some of our friends for a little celebratory get-together this past Saturday. Kate has been really wanting to make dinner for Elise and Randy, since everytime we find ourselves at their place they are making something for dinner. It has also been a while since she made her fabulous lasagna. Everyone we had invited over just loved it. Eddie even had an exceptionally large second piece of it! There was also plenty of beer to go around as Randy and Eddie had brought some exceptional selections.
I think everyone had a really good time. Which is good to see in a Birthday celebration.
On Sunday, Kate and I along with Chris went to see a pretty funny play: “The Mystery of Irma Vep” at the Miracle Theater. The two man show was absolutely hillarious! There were times when I couldn’t stop laughing. It was diffinately a great, fun experience.
