Jon Stewart Is Just as Good

Regardless of what Ducassi thinks of the Daily Show, his work on that show has been recently substantiated. ArsTecnica is reporting on an academic study claiming that The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has just as much substance as any other news show. That’s good, because that’s the only news show, besides “The Colbert Report” that Kate and I watch. I understand that the show is particularly biased in many respects in that it is both supposed to be funny and has a liberal left wing view to it as opposed to most other news shows. But that’s ok, because as the article on Ars points out, it’s just the same as any other news show. It’s really about the ratings.
