On to new ventures

It’s been a 9 days since I started my new job. I am now working for EA. So far, I’m still somewhat shocked that I have found myself employed by the largest third-party video game company in the world. At the beginning of this year I was working on web for he largest computer manufacturer in the high-performance niche and now I’m on to video games. It was such a unique opportunity for me that I just couldn’t pass it up.

Kate and I have as such moved up to Orlando. We’ve got a nice little place in Winter Park. Although we’ve have had some problems trying to get some of the utilities up and running. Even though we’re renting a brand new place, outside of the electric and water nothing else was connected to the house. So we had to wait a couple of days for the telephone to be connected, and we’re still waiting on cable to be brought to the house - admittedly though we spent a good two weeks deciding if we would do cable or satellite TV.

Everything else is pretty good however. We already had one visitor - Chris Ducassi came to see us this past weekend and we went to see Hal Sparks doing stand up at the Hard Rock Live. He was pretty funny. Which reminds me to tell Chris to email-me the picture on his phone of Hal Sparks.
